  • All courses require different amounts of online, self-paced pre-course homework, and it all depends on your prior knowledge.

For shorter courses, we recommend you allow yourself 60-90 minutes to complete the self-paced online learning.

For longer courses, we recommend you allow yourself 90+ minutes to complete the self-paced online learning.

  • CPR & First Aid courses cannot be conducted purely online as all courses requires participants to demonstrate practical skills such as CPR on an adult, child and infant manikins, perform DRSABCD, show the correct use of a defibrillator, bandaging, managing fractures etc.

Due to the above requirements, it is highly unlikely that any online course is an accredited course.

AFAC provides online, self-pace pre-course learning, this allows the duration of the face-to-face training to be completed into a shorter timeframe.
