22578VIC Anaphylaxis is a 3-year accredited course that requires an annual update. The annual update is the VU23090 EpiPen Update.
It is the same principle as CPR being the annual update for first aid.
Yes, VU23090 EpiPen Update is included in the 22578VIC Anaphylaxis course.
The online, self-pace pre-course learning allows the duration of the face-to-face training to be completed in a shorter timeframe.
22578VIC courses cannot be conducted purely online as participants are required to administer adrenaline using an adrenaline injector.
Due to the above requirements, it is highly unlikely that any 22578VIC online course is an accredited course.
22578VIC should be renewed every 3 years and the VU23090 EpiPen Update component updated every 12 months.
We recommend you allow yourself approximately 90-120 minutes to complete the online, self-paced pre-course assessments, however the duration can vary depending on your prior knowledge.
Yes, all of our courses are national accredited and are recognised Australia wide!
