AFAC provides a blended HLTAID009 course with online, self-pace pre-course learning and face to face training.
The online, self-pace pre-course learning allows the duration of the face-to-face training to be completed in a shorter timeframe.
HLTAID009 courses cannot be conducted purely online as participants are required to demonstrate practical skills such as CPR on an adult, child and infant manikins, perform DRSABCD, show the correct use of a defibrillator etc.
Due to the above requirements, it is highly unlikely that any HLTAID009 online course is an accredited course.
