Yes, a person with a disability can attend AFAC training. AFAC will do everything we can to meet your individual needs, however all of our courses require physical tasks that must be completed to obtain a Statement of Attainment, such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin on the floor, recovery position and bandaging to name a few of a long list of requirements.

Yes, you obtain CPD points by attending CPR & First Aid training with AFAC.
Each Statement of Attainment is different.
All First Aid certificates last for 3 years; however, the CPR component needs to be renewed every 12 months.
CPR certificates last for 12 months.
22578VIC Anaphylaxis certificate last for 2 years, however the VU23090 EpiPen Update needs to be renewed every 12 months.
VU23090 EpiPen Annual Update certificate lasts for 12 months.
22556VIC Asthma certificate lasts for 3 years and has no update.
